Account deletion

You can delete your Bomba account and associated data at any time. Deleting your account permanently removes your profile and game activity as described below. Because Bomba uses virtual points only, there is no balance to settle before you delete.

Delete from within the app

  1. Open your profileIn the Bomba app, open the Profile tab.
  2. Open SettingsTap Settings from your profile.
  3. Select "Delete account"Under the Account section, choose Delete account and confirm when prompted. [Profile → Settings → Account → Delete account — confirm exact path and confirmation flow.]

Delete by email

If you can't access the app, email us from the address associated with your account and we'll process the deletion for you:

support@playbomba.app — subject: "Account deletion request".

What gets deleted

When your account is deleted, we remove the personal information tied to it, including:

  • Your account profile — your email address, display name, in-app username/handle, and profile avatar color.
  • Your predictions — the predictions (picks) you submitted and their history.
  • Your virtual points and balances — all in-game points and balances associated with your account.
  • Your league membership — your membership in private leagues, along with your leaderboard standing and play statistics in those leagues.
  • Any other personal data tied to your account.

Some records may be retained for a limited period where required by law, or for legitimate operational reasons such as preventing abuse, resolving disputes, or maintaining security and diagnostic logs. We may also keep aggregated or de-identified information that can no longer be associated with you. [Confirm specific exceptions and retention periods with counsel.]

Timeline

Account deletions are typically completed within [X days, e.g. 30 days] of your request. We may take additional time where reasonably necessary to complete deletion across our systems and backups. [Confirm final timeline.]
